Massive ash cloud shuts down Europe’s skies

LONDON: Millions of passengers were stranded on Friday after a huge cloud of volcanic ash from Iceland swept across Europe, grounding thousands of flights in the biggest air travel shutdown since World War II. Exceptionally strong growth ahead for Singapore, and stronger dollar

Singapore: Exceptionally strong growth was seen in the first quarter of 2010 and the Trade and Industry Ministry (MTI) says it now expects Singapore’s economy to grow by 7.0 to 9.0% during the current year. Thai PM declares state of emergency in Bangkok
